Our new look and a What to wear guide | Fort Wayne Photographer

See, when I bought the logo I have always used , I was just getting started in the world of photography for a living. I was still finding myself, and had a lot to learn about my own future. It's a lovely logo, and it has served me very well! But, it was time to take things to the next level. I wanted a logo that was made *just for me*, and I wanted the full set of pretty things to go with it, too. So, I began researching designers, and watching what they produced. I found a wonderful gal named Kim @ MadiLu Designs, and gave her some background on who I am. She took such a quick glimpse of me, and turned it into a gorgeous and perfect logo, 

You see, those 3 roses in the middle represent my 3 children. Did you know that the yellow rose symbolizes Joy and Gladness? It also makes me think of my mom (who in case you hadn't heard just beat breast cancer like the champion that she is!). My mom has always adored yellow roses. She always told us that sending yellow roses to someone was a way to express loyalty and the kind of love that only true friends can understand. At each house my husband and I have owned together, there has been a yellow rose bush. He also presented me with a huge bouquet of both red and yellow roses on the night he proposed to me. You see, our relationship has always been built of both love and friendship. So for him, red roses alone were not an adequate way to express his feelings. It took a lot of thinking for me to realize that the yellow rose would always be an important symbol for me. And to have 3 yellow roses (Joy and Gladness!) represent my three children -- well, PERFECT! 

So, now when I look at my logo and my marketing materials, I'm reminded of the exact things and people that my inspiration is born from, the people who make me see the world in ways I was never able to see it before.
